You will be nominated a practice management team of two – a Practice Manager and a Practice Assistant. Together they are responsible for looking after your patients and you!

Meet the Management Team

Tina Barrett

Tina is married with two children and one grandson. (we know - she doesn't look old enough!)

She does not have a dog, nor does she want one; but fortunately for PHF Tina is very good with money and manages all of PHFs client finances. Tina is also very good at issuing orders and as such is appointed as PHFs Head of Operations.

Tom Acworth

Tom is married with three children, his wife is currently searching for a “Parsons” Jack Russell as a rather belated 40th birthday present. 

Tom started PHF in 2003 and has brought to the business his previous experience that ranges from Client Relations and Sales within financial services, strategic corporate marketing and numerous roles within the military.

Richard Gregory

Richard is married with two children and a labradoodle called Finley. He loves travelling, which is fortunate, considering he is Director of Sales and Marketing and is constantly out and about meeting consultants!

Richard brings a wealth of experience to the business from various sales and marketing positions in the past.

Mark Whatman

Mark is married with four children and is an award winning systems developer with a wealth of programming experience. He is conversant with over 20 programming languages across dozens of hardware platforms.

Mark started with PHF in 2004 and has used his experience to create from scratch our innovative, cutting edge practice management system.

 
Meet our Non-Executive Directors

Dr Ray Stanbridge – Chairman

Ray, a qualified accountant, is a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.

Ray is very well known in the healthcare market. He set up his own business Stanbridge Associates, dealing with the tax and accounting requirements of over 1700 medical consultants. He is a graduate in Commerce from the University of Leeds and in Economics from Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand.

Mr John K Webb MB, BS, FRCS

John is one of the world’s leading spinal surgeons and has designed a number of spinal implant systems used internationally today. John currently holds a post as Consultant Spinal Surgeon at The Queens Medical Centre in Nottingham.

 

Ed Simpson

Ed qualified as a Chartered Accountant at Arthur Andersen, where he also worked as a management consultant. He moved to Equinox Securities where he advised on a large number of corporate finance and venture capital transactions. He then gained hands on experience as COO / CFO of a rapidly growing medical diagnostics company. Before joining Bridges he was an investment manager at YFM. At Bridges Ventures, a Venture Capital company that has a social mission, he makes investments of up to £10m and helps to support the management teams in growing the business.
